Can some with access to PA20 and PRMS make changes/update HR master data? OR these transactions are used strictly for view/display purpose ONLY?
I have done this test and the test indicates although these are display access, if you have authorization object assigned to the info type with activity level (E; D or W), you can make changes to salary information using display type of transactions????
"AUTHORIZATION OBJECT::
• P_ORGIN:
Infotype (INFTY): 0008 (Basic Pay)
Authorization Level Description:
- E (write locked record)
- D (change lock indicator)
- W (write data records)
I am getting some false positive, i tested this way and had some users show up, so I used one the user with the above access to see if they can make changes to salary info using PA20 and they weren't able to. I just want to make sure that is the case because I have make changes to my test procedure moving forward if that is the case. Thank you so much for all you input to my Q, in advance.
