Hi MG,
Payroll area was not exited because payroll posting to finance was still
pending and they transferred the salary to Bank through a program f writing
the disket for Bank.
Now by mistake he rerun the payroll for that payroll area and salary has
become double and not balanced at the time of posting. Now how this extra
balance of Net pay or Bank pay should be adjusted for posting.

You cannot delete payroll results after third party has been processed. The only option is to reverse the run at this point. Are you sure the rerun of the payroll for the same period? Or was an on-demand run for the following period? If your payroll was exited you should not have been able to rerun the payroll for the same period.
I think a little more information would help.
