Can you please explain further on this solution. I have found "Batch specific units of measure" but I don't know if this will cover my client's requirements, which are, by the way, management of different lengths of pipes and hoses.
I intend to manage these by batches.
The client also makes partition of these pipes/hoses, in order to sell to the customer smaller portions of these materials.
Any thoughts on this?

I'm doing a SAP project.
I have some problem now.
we are using roll type material as raw material with batch management.
but, everytime the unit are different.
today we receipt 1 roll, 1200 meter with batch no 100.
yesterday, we receipt 1 roll, 1100 meter with batch no 99.
two material have same material code.
When we issue these material, we must issue by roll not meter unit.
In that case, who make material issue reservation are doesn't know what batch has specific meter.
even if user make reservation that has material 1000meters, we need to issue 1100 meters, batch 99.
