Exactly you can go for this if you need all the roles ,profiles authorization in new dev system same as of old one.

I need an extra DEV system in my landscape. Now I have DEV, QAS and PRD.
I don't want to install a new system, so I think is a good idea copy the current DEV system in a virtual system available and then replace the hostname and SID.
What do you think? I 'll appreciate your suggestions.
