Hello Roy,
I need the profit center, cause the discount account is not set up as cost element. If it would be a cost element, I would aggree with the cost center. Unfortunatley, it is no cost element. Discount account is derived from FI customizing and is not assigned to the profit Center. However, it is desired to have all P&L accounts validated and they should be posted to EC-PCA. Therefore, I need the validation and 3KEH / 3KEI. The only possible solution would to exclude the profit center in the field status group or us substitution with Exit to have just one place for maintenance of the accounts..

When I create a invoice based on a PO with an asset the profit Center is not derived at all for P&L accounts. Therefore, I set up 3KEH and 3KEI for the particular company code. However, it is still not deriving the profit center from that tables. Nevertheless, when I am doing FB01 /FB50 with same accounts it is getting the profit center from 3KEH /3KEI.
