When you say "cleared before closing" are you referring to either receiving then correcting or reversing the ship process? Or something else?

In case of stock transport order, you can't close out the related STO line item if the GR quantity is less than GI quantity as SAP does require that the stock in transit shall be cleared before closing any STO line item.
