Our company has PeopleSoft as the HR and Payroll systems but SAP for most all other business functions - including Financials and Time Recording. We use the wage type export process to create a Time and Earnings file that is fed weekly to the PeopleSoft payroll system. (In essence, we outsource payroll to the company's PeopleSoft system). Due to an incorrect value in table T549Q, last week's wage type export process created an extra IF cluster entry for every active employee. The bad T549Q entry (weekly) was for 2012/12 which had a start date of 3/10/2010 (rather than 3/10/2012). It caused an IF Cluster entry for 12.2012 with the same period dates as the "good" created for the week (01/01/2011 thru 01/07/2011). I'm in the middle of running tests in our development test client to see what the impact for this week's export will be if I correct T549Q this week or if I do not. My question: How can I delete the undesired IF cluster entry? Since the date/time is the same as the one we need to keep the use of RPCIFU07 is not practical because it will delete the good with the bad. I also cannot use RPCIFU06 because it deletes results "up to" a particular date. I found an OSS Note (771836) which pointed to program RPCOIFU6 as a solution. However, when I ran it I got an error message: "This utility cannot be used for master data exports." So, I'm at a loss as to how I can delete the undesired entries. I imagine that one solution would be to go ahead and use RPCIFU07 to delete both of last week's IF cluster entries and then re-run last week's export to create the good file last week (after T549Q is updated) - but I'm not really comfortable with that option. Thanks in advance for your help. Ralph | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
