Hi, My employer has just gone on to SAP for Financial Management. I work in the budget area and am new to SAP. In our legacy system we had many negative expense budgets due to a recoup process we have in place. Our business wants to retain this practice. We have uploaded our budgets from our legacy system into SAP including the negative budgets mentioned. If we are now wanting to do a budget transfer to increase the negative with the other side of the journal receiving funds, do I make the negative bigger by making them the sender with the party receiving the funds being the receiver? I heard that SAP does not let you transfer funds from an account that does not have funds available and that, since the budget is in negative, it would see this as not having funds available to transfer. Do I make the negative larger by making them the sender, or would have to put a negative sign in the receiver? Can someone please provide some advice? Thanks.

Help...please...Our office goes live on SAP next Monday. Ahhh. Is it possible to load budgets into multiple years (different amounts in each year) but also across multiple fund centres, funds and commitment items uploading from Excel. If so, how? Does the spreadsheet need to be formatted in a certain way. I understand it needs to be a .txt file. Can someone please walk me through the steps or point me in the right direction. We do daily adjustments to our budget allocations due to establishment changes and I need to find a quick way to load them. Each adjustment we do is about 30 lines of data and has formulas to calculate oncosts. I need to build templates quickly.
