Hello,
I'll add my 20 cents. In Japan for example, you need to report the AP separately by services and materials. So you need to do the reconciliation account method.
Using Industry is also a valid solution as well. Though you need to consider why you need to do this kind of reporting - internally or from a new Country / Government requirement.

My problem is the following.I have many vendors. Some are for services , some are for material and many others. I want to take vendor ledgers by category. for example i want to take the ledger of all vendors that have materials only.And then by services vendors only. How can i have it? What changes i must do?
