Why not use the MBGMCR02 Idoc - you didn't really give any context (unless
its elsewhere in the thread) of what you are trying to do.
This IDOC is exceptionally easy to use from either LSMW or by attaching
output to the required point in your process e.g. on the material document.
If you use the latter option just search the forums a little bit as there's
a little bit of work to do to be able to process the IDOC out and back in
again from this point (you also need to have NDR=X parameter set in all
users that will process the output.)
The IDOC was originally created based on the BAPI I believe so performance
wise you shouldn't have any issues using it, and the benefit is should there
be any issues with creation then the IDOC status history covers all that
error handling for you rather than having to do it yourself after a failed
bapi call.
