With new gl you need to maintain fagl3keh for the default profit centers.
Usually you maintain balance accounts here.
Bedause for the expense accounts it can be derrived from the cost centre.
OKB9 in this case you use for putting defautl cost centres on your expense accounts.

Hello SAPs
What is the Exact use of OKB9 ?
We have New GL Activated and Profit center is Mandatory.
We have 5 Profit center.
In this Scenario, how I can utilize this OKB9.
Can Any one Give some Example.
Like, Payroll is Centralized for Us.
We have 5 Profit Center.
When Payroll posting is happening, System shows Error " Balancing Filed is Empty".
That Mean system is Not able to Pick the Profit Center.
In Employee Master, Cost Center is there and what I know is From Cost center System Can Pick the Profit center...
How I can use OKB9 to solve this Issue?
