JCo Destinations should be maintained in Content Administrator of WebDynpro. Go to http://<your host name>:<Port Number>/ then you can see the WebDynpro Console, go to WebDynpro Console-->Content Administrator.
Then click on the Maintain JCo Destinations button, you can see the available jco destinations. Create destination for each JCO Destination by clicking Create link. If your system is Connected with SLD then you can select the ERP system from the available list, else provide the necessary details(hostname etc).
There are two type of destinations need to configured for each JCo Destinaton, One is Meta Data and another is application data.

Subject: Cant call up ESS/MSS portal in EHP4
Can someone explain to me how to call up ESS/MSS portal on EHP4. A
whole lot seem to be different in the process of Setting up ESS/MSS
portal in EHP4 compared to EHP3 I am more conversant with.
Now, I have a different JAVA instance in contrast with what I had in
EHP3 where the JAVA was an add-in. And the Rapid Configuration folder
that contains the Self service scenarios in EHP3 is no where to be
found in the Master CD for EHP4.
I have successfully installed the JAVA instance here, then using
http://sidsap:50000, I cant call up the portal. I have used the SID
for the Central host, and even the SID of the Java instance all to no
avail.
The Business packages necessary are all already installed in the system
Is it that there is some other thing I need to install, or that the
URL path am using is wrong?....am sure losing my mind here....
