I am trying to understand why an MRP requisition generated for a repairable item would not have a unique number, i.e, If the same material number is booked out the MRP requisition increases in quantity and does not generate a new number or add an additional line to the requisition.

Is this a normal set up? In theory an MRP requisition could always stay open if the repairable item does not satisfy the min/max level of the repairable fleet.
