Hi IT 14 is for any payment or deduction to be made in each pay period. An IT 14 record is used in Payroll processing (through the function P0014 in the payroll schema X000->subschema XAP9 ) during the validity period defined by the IT 14 - begda and endda. IT 15 is used for one-off payments and deductions or adjustments in one period. It will be used in a pay period that straddles the IT15 date of origin. This date will be usually the same as begda & endda. A wage type can be used in both IT 14 & 15 depending on the business need. For example, you need to make an adjustment for a past period's deduction for a w/type. Then you may use it in IT 15 with the date of the past period. Some clients or installations may use different w/types for IT 14 & 15. There is no hard & fast rule. Hope this helps. Most of the wage types in It0014 are prorated but IT0015 are one time payments. How does it effect payroll processing and Pay results ? > > Can you just give some example where we can use same wage type in both the infotypes . > > Thanks, > NL | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author.
