Hi Manish, For the first scenario on new hire, the hiring action in legacy system will trigger the New Hire action in SAP, as what you'd mentioned. It may be more tricky for the second scenario. A single promotion in legacy system will have to be mapped to 2 actions in SAP -- "Separation" and "New Hire" actions. You may wish to consider using Action Reasons to identify such scenario. In addition, you may also use IT0031 to keep the previous personnel number in the new record. In this way, you can reference back to the employee's previous records. Hope this helps.
