Subject: What's the difference between Shipping condition and shipping type

> What is the difference between shipping condition and shipping type? Which one of these is more commonly used to identify shipping method such as Ground, Overnight etc.? In our current SAP implementation we are not really using shipping condition but are using shipping type to define the method of shipment to be used. We are changing our configuration to use WM (Warehouse management) and are being advised to change our configuration to use shipping condition to set the shipping method and I want to evaluate how this will affect us. I was intending to use shipping condition to drive shipping point and thereby storage location determination before this and am not sure if this will help or hurt that decision. Are there any issues with having different shipping points for the same order but on different deliveries (both inbound and outbound)?
