hi,

i think ur confused because ur not saving the changes in ur existing layout
, for that simply go to change layout , do the changes , save the layout
there only instead of just hitting the enter button .. just click save
button it will show u the existing name only , save it .... it will ask u
....." u want to overwrite existing layout" . click yes ... then u can see
that whenever will again go to fbl5n again , it will show u your new
default layout only.....

regards

shivani

Subject: Default Layout that's User-Specific

Another way to do it is with a Parameter ID in your user defaults. Go to System - > User profile -> Own data and check out the PID's that begin with an "F". You will see all sorts of entries for different kinds of FI layouts. One of them is FOP, which is what you update when you use FB00. It looks funny, because it's a bunch of "X" values separated by spaces, but those spaces are for the boxes you did NOT check in FB00. There are many other things you can default from this Parameters tab.
