Hi

Some more detail about what kind of products you are assigning the EAN would be helpful. The standard is an EAN 13 or 14 now, however how you configure them to populate automatically depends on whether the number range is owned/purchased by the company or is just an internally generated number for internal purposes.

The configuration for EANs or Barcodes is in Logistics General - material master - Settings for Key fields - International Article Numbers (EANs).

Here you can define the number range you require and determine whether that number range is internally generated or manually entered during material creation/maintenance.
