Hi AUC is not subject to depreciation since it is a semi form of asset not fit to be functional as yet. The Auc would contain inputs ( materials, labor etc) required to construct the asset. Once fabrication of the asset is complete, you transfer the asset from AUC to a different Asset class such as Furniture, Building etc. ( To do so you write a distribution rule and settle the same). It is only when the asset gets its desired form fit to be functional ( happening during the asset transfer from AUC ) that the final asset qualifies for depreciation. Therefore AUC is never depreciated. AUC class uses a 0000 depreciation key which inhibits depreciation.
