Hi Satish, First I just want to let you know that we don't deal with urgent issues here. If your issue is urgent you should always contact SAP Support (or your VAR partner). Please confirm that you've tested the validity of the SNC certificate and the result was OK. Is that IP address assigned to the SAProuter server? What's up with the x'es? Is that something you put in to disguise it? The hostname and IP address of the new SAProuter server must be 100% the same as it was on the old server. Your network guys must ensure that it is located in the DMZ and is acessible on port 3299/tcp (or the port you've chosen) from the internet. When logged on to the SAProuter server, you should be able to execute the command below. . . telnet <IP address of your SAP application server> <32xx> (where xx is the system number of that instance) When logged on to the SAP application server, you should be able to execute the command below. . . telnet <IP address of the SAProuter server> 3299 You're not saying which OS your SAProuter is running on, but I'll assume it's windows. Both these commands should then give you a blank screen in the DOS prompt, before timing out after a minute or so. This means the firewall settings should be OK. However, if the DOS prompt just hangs with the message "Connecting to <IP address>" and says "Could not open conection?" after a few seconds, the firewall is not configured correctly. You're using the saprouttab from the old server, right? What about the hosts file? Was that maintained on the old server? Do you have a backup of it? What does the dev_route trace file say?
