Standard SAP provides a conversion for Swift MT940 when you import the file from the bank in that format. You shouldn't need to do any programming in order to import or convert this format.

If you already have a tool to convert a bank file to format SWIFT or Multicash, then you can upload any of these format among others.

Check transaction FF.5 all the available formats that SAP already understand.

Banks generally have many options to export to. See what choices the sending bank offers. I don't know what your rational is in choosing Swift but BAI or BAI2 seems to be the standard with all the banks I use.

Hi SAP gurus,

I am looking for a readymade utility to convert files received from banks into multicash or SWIFT MT940 format so that the same can be uploaded to SAP. Do I need to write a custom program for this? Please let me know.

Regards,

Venkat
