No it doesn't - not for me anyway.

Why on earth would you try and code what you can do in standard pricing.

What's wrong with an access sequence that includes the duty status, plant,
destination plant, etc. whatever your parameters are for your calculation
then let the pricing schema read the condition that says what the rate is
for that combination.

If you code it where will the values be maintained? On a Z table rather than
a pricing table? How is that any better than using standard functionality?

Although you say the pricing team is weak are you sure you understand whats
available in pricing and aren't trying to circumvent simply directly asking
someone that should know how to do it already for what you want.

Although maybe I'm missing something too...
