you may get this warning message if delivery date for your new item is earlier than 01 st april 2010. check if you delivery date is correct.
also be aware, this is just a warning message, if your IR is not back posted to March, but posted to Apr or May, you can simply ignore the message.
if you want to post to March (regardless the posting period issue), your cost center need to be valid from March.
