The storage location has probably filled into the serial number master. If it is removed, then the serial numbers won't show up in queries for that storage location. Archiving off the serial numbers is better but this is a significant task.

Hi Denise,
Extremely sorry for the delay in rsponse.
Actually the serial number profile wa de-activated for some material codes and these the stocks were written off in an inventory . Ideally it shoul have been written off with the serial numbers attached to them.
This is the reason the serial are unwanted
