What I do is to issue the first material to a cost center or internal order, then reverse the second material from the same cost object. This results in any price difference staying on the cost object.

To the best of my knowledge, the same base UOM is a necessary pre-requiste for transferring one material to another.
If these are different, it cannot be done.
However, if anyone has tried doing something different, please share and enlighten us.

Dear MM gurus,
I want to transfer the stock of one material to another material with same batch.Now at the time of MB1B - 309 movement system give error message as the "Base unit of measure is different".Now I have A material with Kg as base unit of measure(stock keeping unit) and the B material has L(Littre) as stock keeping unit so is there any seeting to transfer the material from A to B inspite of his base unit of measure is different.I had already mention the conversion factor from L to Kg in the material master.
