Hi there,

The reason of these inconsistencies and errors (12 126) had been described to me once as 'users did changes with respect to batches and this would have caused inconsistencies'. I admit that this is not a detailed explanation.

It might also be related to 'authorization' (SAP Notes 1430176, 1421435, ...)? SAP Notes 619913, 388393, 88896 and others provide more details (depending on the issue) and you probably know them already; they explain also reports and transactions to address the issue.

It seems that modifications, i.e. as per SAP Note 157423, in combination with a later classification for the same batch at the same time also might cause this issue.
Have you implemented the same?

With best regards
Robin

Hi!

I get an error "Inconsistency in Classification Data - Transaction Terminated" when using transaction MB31 or MB1B. I also know that you can fix this through running transaction code BMCC. I wanted to ask what is the rootcause for this is though - so that it will not happen in the future. Is this process related?

FYI, we usually encounter this for transactions that use IDOCs (i.e. from an external system) which do good movement for materials with dynamic batches (changing batches).

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
