I have not seen a reply to this, so in case it has not been answered - at a high level - here is what you do. Create a variable?for period with a description?"Actuals to Period ?" Create a second period variable being a?formula variable. This will say if var 1 < 12 then var 1 - 1 else 0. Create a third period variable being a formula variable. This will say if var 2 = 0 then 0 else 12. In a column for actuals the the period range is period 1 to period var 1 In the column for plan data the period range is var 2 to var 3 Create a column being the sum of the 2 above. Hide columns 1 and 2 above. No rocket science. Hope this helps. Allan Godfrey >A.P. CCA report Posted by Rishi Raga (Mr) on May 26 at 5:21 AM Hello, I need to create a report/formula variable in order for my report to work. The requirement is to show Actuals and Budget values in a report. For example if the user enters a 3 in the period field/selection screen, then the output must show JAN, FEB, MAR in Actuals and the remainder of the year in Budget. This must be done by period. If the user enters an 11 then the output must show JAN - NOV in Actuals and DEC in Budget. This is for the CCA report where they want to compare actuals CCA to budget. Can you please assist me on how to handle this? Or how to create a formula variable that can handle this? Many thanks for your assistance. | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author.
