Hi,
The way to check if you need to restart is:
1. Execute tcode RZ11
2. Enter parameter name
3. Click Documentation
4. See if Dynamically Switchable is check or not
If it's checked, you don't need a restart.

i'm editing the profile parameter -sapgui/user_scripting. Does this requires
a SAP restart? If i restart the SAP its changed values are removed. Would
like to confirm whether a restart is necessary or not in this case?
