Seems we agree. The two database servers have separare databses for each application.
ie
DB1
SIDs: CRQ ? CRM QAS
EPQ ? Enterprise Portal QAS
XIQ ? NW PI QAS
OS: RHEL 5.2 (64bit)
CPU: 2x Quad Core 3.00 GHz Xeon
Memory: 32 GB
DB2
Storage: / 16 GB; Swap 32 GB
SIDs: ECQ ? ECC QAS
BWQ ? BI (BW) QAS
EPQ ? Enterprise Portal QAS
MDQ ? MDM QAS
OS: RHEL 5.2 (64bit)
CPU: 2x Quad Core 3.00 GHz Xeon
Memory: 32 GB
Storage: / 16 GB; Swap 32 GB
The actual data is stored on a netAPP 3170 with plenty spindles. We are definatly not using a MCOD implementation and yes this a huge implementaion. The config above is for QAS and we have added 2 more servers for production.
Does the commnet still stand that this is a "micky mouse" implementation.
