Hello,
I have a question regarding the way a wage type is processed: Scenario: End of the year an an employee receives a one time car allowance payment, which is processed with a processing class of 71 type A (adoption assistance). This behavior allows for the wage type to be added into the gross amount paid to the employee and taxed on it, but they never receive a payment for it. After the last payroll run of the year to create the w-2 forms the wage type processing class is changed to a 1 in order for it to show up on the w-2 forms.
Question: Is there anyway to set this wage type up without changing the processing class for it to show up on the w-2.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Stephanie
