Not quite. House Banks are not country specific, they are bank specific. If your bank being used for this is in a different country, then clearly a new house bank is needed. But the same also applies if the bank is two towns away and has a different sort code / ABA number / SWIFT code (insert whatever standard you use the in country where you hold bank accounts).

The first question you need to ask yourself is "Am I using the same bank to process these transactions?" If the answer is NO, then you need a new House Bank. House banks represent the banks that your company uses for payments, receipts, etc. If the answer to the first question is YES, then you do not need a new House Bank.

The second question you must ask yourself is "Am I using the same bank account to pay from?" If the answer is NO, then you need a new House Bank Account (within the appropriate House Bank). If the answer is YES, then you do not need a new House Bank Account.

Shaun,
You need a separate house bank if it is a different country than the USD housebank, otherwise you can use the same housebank. However, you have to have a separate account for each currency. For example, you have a house bank - Citi with Bank country - US and Bank Key 12345678.
A bank account in USD must have been assigned to this house bank. All you need to do is add a different Bank ID(e.g. EURO) and a bank account, which is different than the USD account number.
You have to configure the FBZP accordingly
