Subject: Migrating Legacy System Finance Data to SAP FI
I need a small help:
I am new to data migration, and I am given the assignment of migrating Legacy Data to SAP financials.
I have the data in the form of Trial balance, which is a 2016 year end data. This need to be posted as opening balance in the account.
The SAP IT person said, we could post the figures into the following GL accounts :
- 9000000 P & L carried forward
- 9000090 Take over account customer
- 9000091 Take over account Vendor
- 9000092 Take over account GL
Can you please advise me on :
a. Which figures from the Trial balance hit each of this nominals;
b. Is it that the figure in TB to be posted into these above accounts as : Cr to be posted as Dr and vise versa
c. What figures go into P & L carried forward
- How we post these opening figures into Business Partner, GL accounts,
- What are the T-codes/ navigation menu for these activities.
I know this is a long list, but any help on this is highly apreciated |
