You can search the Manufacturer Part Number field from any Material number search and see the Manufacturer number along with the Mfg. Part Number and Material number.
The Purchasing Info Records (PIRs) are the base object to connecting the material to the vendors that you want to purchase it from. Search the Info Record field in ME13, etc. to see which vendors have PIRs for the material number.
