I should note that we don't use the standard MEDRUCK program for PO's. We have a custom Z program without put type ZNEU. There must be code in MEDRUCK that can accommodate emailing? Configuration looks OK. Is there anything else in configuration I should be looking at?

Can you adjust so that you email directly from the PO? Then SAP will identify a change later and the statistical date will remain static. The buyer can follow-up with an additional email if it's necessary.
To email from the PO, you will need to maintain the email in the vendor contacts.
