You may want to google "abap excel ole2_object macros"
We've used a solution based on Ole2 for a long time (since 2000) and it works fine.
Of course it's an old fashioned solution? but, IMO, something is better than nothing?. Isn't it?
(BTW, check the groups posts. I think this question has been solved many times in the past in SAP-DEV and SAP-ABAP)

Hello Experts,
I need to download data from SAP to Excel. First column of the Excel is blank. We need the moment user enters any value, the colour of the cell should change.
This can be done via Macros. But how to write macro in excel from SAP?
Please help.
