Statistical Internal Orders maybe used best for Cost Centers as these are just accumulators of cost and are used for reporting only. Orders that settle to a balance sheet are a different type of Internal Order. They accumulate costs and then once the order is finished a reclass is done to take it to a balance sheet account I believe.

What is the difference between an Internal Order charged to a Cost Center and an Internal Order charged to a Balance Sheet account. Also how can you tell if the Internal Order is one charged to a Cost Center and one charged to a Balance Sheet Account.in SAP under Transaction Code KO02.

thanks
