Question from Mischa van Dinter on Nov 2 at 4:54 AM Hi, We manage several as400/iseries/system i hosts with more than one SAP system (single instance, central system, some dual stack abap+java, some abap only). All of them will be upgraded using the SUM tool. Before, we could run several instances of SUM at the same time by using different ports. But now, the SUM has to be registered with the host agent and the hostagent makes most of the decisions about how to run SUM. Is it still possible to run two SUM instances at the same time and if so, how? And if this is not possible, has anyone tried registering one SUM, running the uptime, registering another SUM, running another uptime, and then register the first one again for the downtime, and then the other one? That way they would not run simultaneously but we could still do two uptimes during the week and two downtimes in the same weekend. Thanks!
