Reply from guest on Oct 21 at 8:45 AM In addition to setting the MRP job to complete by 6 AM (we run all product in one job), the planner has the option to use MD02 to run for a specific material if changes in demand or other occurs after your job for MRP update.

It appears that SAP does not allow MRP to run concurrently for same plant. This is quite surprising. I have an MRP run for raw materials scheduled at 4 am that takes a few hours. I also have another MRP job that needs to run as close as possible to 6 am for same plant. That first job often runs long and the second job aborts. I shouldn't be forced to have to reschedule either job.
Anybody have solutions or further perspectives on this?
