Some MRP jobs run every hour, some twice a day, some daily. The main driver is to have MRP be finished by a certain time, not start at a certain time. In other words, want MRP results by the time an MRP planner is ready to look at them.
Anyway, I got a response from SAP and will close ticket.
SAP writes: "I understand the scenario, however, this is a technical limitation of the application. Two plannings running in parallel for the same plant would cause lock issues and several inconsistencies. " |
