systems the workload will be close to zero. Run it online as a
background job. Why weekend? 'Cause few transaction will be running means
workload will be low. Why background? You will give users privilege to
work and whilst the process may slower the system only few users will
be affected during weekends.

Why can't you shoot a background job for that updating process & the job
can be run during non-business hours when there is less users, can
include the matter job variant also. This will ensure that whatever
day you required the updating happens without making any impact on the
servers. Yes, during Production hours also, you may update in
Background Process. |
