There are three different defaults in the line layouts. First is the Global Default that everybody gets. Then there is the user specific default which overrides the Global Default for that user. Then there is a Layout at the bottom of the front selection screen in line item display transactions. This one overrides both the Global and User specific layout. If this is left blank then the User will get the Global or User specific layout whichever the case may be.

Once you have the layout you like and saved as a user specific layout go to Setting>Layout>Administration.

You can toggle between the Global Layouts and the User Specific layouts by the icon in the top left Corner. The Icon will show the word Standard or User depending on which screen toggle you are in.

A User Specific layout can be saved as a default by putting a check mark in the DS column and saving. This will override now the Global Layout.

Hope that helps.

Subject: 'Loosing' Layout Look In Fbl1N Transaction

Hi,

End-users are complaining about loosing the look of particular layout and switching to default look, in transaction FBL1N. I am not sure why is this happening. I usually "solve" this issue by saving that particular layout the way it look before. I must note that this is *not* user-specific layout and it starts with /.

Any help is appreciated and many thanks in advance.
Sam
