What I suggest is go to the Vendor Master first and Double check that the in the purchasing data the AUTO Po selection block is selected. Then go to the purchasing view in the material master and check that the Auto PO selection block is selected. Then go to SPRO and check under enterprise settings to see that the standard purchase organisation is assigned to the plant.
Now if these settings are correct and your INFO record has a valid price(and if there is a release strategy and PR FULLY released) then run transaction ME56 for your requisition number. This step will assign a vendor OR if there is multiple vendors give you the option of selecting. AFTER vendor assigned then run transaction ME59N with test mode and see what happens. I just simulated this procedure on our QA and worked perfectly.

Dear Expert,
I need some assistance here.
I have an issue where after the MRP run, the PR is not converted to PO. I suspect this must be because of the vendor code is not populated in PR. I have Info records maintained and source list maintained accordingly.
My question is, why the source of supply does not auto populate in PR if there is Info records maintained. There must be something missing with either of Info records & source List.
Appreciate your advice.
