Standard Sub Contracting order process defined and provided by SAP takes
care of the added cost of process by Vendor . That is processing charges
given to vendor are added to Raw Material given to vendor for processing.
You need to have sub contracting BOM for the same.

We use purchase orders to drive outside processes that modify and add value to our parts. How do we do this in SAP so that the costing for the outside process is automatically rolled up into the production order used to create the parts? Can we use the production order to drive the outside process as well?
We do this quite frequently and manually having to adjust costing creates a work burden on our purchasing team for these jobs. |
