Question from chelseapot65 on Dec 14 at 9:29 PM Our organization is getting ready to implement SAP within the year. I am hearing something quite frightening about SAP regarding measuring supplier on-time delivery performance. I am hearing that you cannot measure supplier delivery peformance based upon supplier "original and/or acknowledged" promise date, which is a "best practice" principle. For example, I send the purchase order out with a due date of either my real need date or a date calculated based upon supplier lead-time. Next, the supplier acknowledges the purchase order and promises to delivery on a certain date. I want to add that date in on the order and have the On-Time Delivery Measurement based upon this promise date. In addition, if the supplier then comes back at a later time and changes the date they will deliver, I want to keep MRP current with the new arrival or ship date, BUT I still want to measure on-time delivery based upon the "Original Promised Date" mentioned above. Please let me know if that is possible and if so is there a special module required to do this and if so which one and how would you do it specifically? If a special module is not required, then specfically what are the key strokes to make this happen. Thank you. | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
