Crete two assets. If the total cost is 100, create one asset for 140 and the second one for -40 (a negative asset).
Depreciate asset 1 fully and do not depreciate asset 2 at all. Net impact = cost of 100 and accumulated depreciation of -140.
Please provide a bit more info on this to satisfy our curiosity. What circumstances are driving this need?
