I seriously doubt there is any "master" data that specifically identifies a table in such a way to distinguish between materialized views and materialized aggregates.

You could have a table with 50 fields and just one of the fields contains aggregated data. Or, 45 out of the 50 the fields on the table could represent aggregated data.

Let's assume you could identify all of your tables as either a view or an aggregate table. How would that information be used?

Subject: How to Differentiate Database Tables As Materialized Views and Materialized Aggregates in SAP ERP?

Hi all,

Thanks for your reply.

Please go through this link. This would give an idea about my issue.

https://blogs.saphana.com/2014/09/30/how-simple-finance-removes-redundancy-2/

The examples given in the above link are
BKPF, BSIS, BSAS - materialized view and
KNC1, LFC1, GLT0 - materialized aggregates

I want to know on what basis are they classified and how can I determine this in my code.

Regards,
Prateek
