Reply from CWK on Sep 3 at 12:25 PM Are you interested in displaying the actual components on an actual production order or would you be interested in a generic BOM-based report that shows only assembly, its phantoms, and their components? SAP has several multi-level BOM displays, but I don't think any of them display only the assembly, its phantoms, and the phantom components. There is an SAP function that takes an assembly and generates a table of the components (including phantom requirements). It's basically the same function that builds the components list you see when you look at a planned order. You'd need a custom program to call the function and display the detail. If your focus is on specific orders, then you can sort the component overview on a production order by creating a custom Sort that uses the Order Level and Order Path values in the overview to manage the placement of your phantom components where you want them when looking at the basic component overview in CO03. You can also use the Component List feature of CO03 to generate a report and use the ALV sort features to sort just the way you want. That report can be printed or extracted to Excel. If you're looking to just push a button and generate a separate report of the components of a given order displayed exactly as you wish, then I think you'll need a custom application that uses the component detail in table RESB. Tell us more about your actual requirement. Carl

We use multi-level BOMs with phantom items and I want to get our orders printed in a way that displays the different levels differently. Does anyone know how to do this? | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
