Hi Adam

Thanks very much for your reply. Much appreciated. I am using TQTA with a
couple of additional rules which I have created. The problem is that it is
not confined to any specific ESG or PSG. It is random throughout the
groups. Sometimes when I run PT60 in foreground for a person whose IT2006
did not create it then populates IT2006. Sometimes if I rerun PT60 in
background it then creates IT2006 for a whole bunch of emploiyees who
previously had entries in ABWKONTI but no IT2006. It is very confusing. The
issue is random and I guess if I ran PT60 enough times everyone would
eventually have IT2006 populated. The 1st time that I ran for all 17000
employees only 4500 were populated. The second time there were about 11000
with IT2006 populated and so on. I now have 450 outstanding but these are
genuine errors due to a country holiday calendar which I will fix and some
master data issues with IT0007 and IT0001.
I guess that I will have to wait and see what happens when I run for the
2nd month after go-live
Thanks for the response
John

Subject: Quotas Are Populated Into ABWKONTI But Are Not Transferred Into IT2006

John, hi

Since the config on quotas is rather 'involved', it sounds like the config rather than the master data might be not quite there (if your employees are all in the correct ESGs and PSGs. check V_503_All and V_001P_All to confirm the settings for time quota types and time recording. make sure that options are configured for your quotas for all of the required ESGs and PSGs, even down to the 'increase' or 'replace' option on the generation in Time Eval.

under PT60, do you use the SAP standard schema TQTA? or a custom version? if it's custom, this is a whole different kettle of fish, can of worms, bag of cats...

you may also find our article on quota useful:

kind regards
