In QA32/QA33 - there are other fields you can bring into the layout that will help you decipher the origination of the 08 Inspection lot:
Movement Type (101 vs 322) - 101 would be a goods receipt against PO (STO)
322 is a stock transfer from Unrestricted into QI Status
Purchasing document - List the STO PO number (which numbering scheme starts with 4XXXXXXX)
Lot created by - If created by Autosys - typically a shelf life expiration date was exceeded and SAP system transferred into QI
If in QA02/QA03
There is a tab called Data for Lot Origin - In the section call Data for Goods receipt you can click on the eye glasses right of the Plant stock field and this will bring you to the actual material document that created that Inspection lot - (use the Doc . Info Tab )

Scrap lot and Stock transfer lot inspection lot range is 80000000, we are not able to differentiate whether scrap or STO lot, for that we need to differentiate by number ranges like All scrap lot start with 800050000 to 800100000, as well as STO lot number start with 800100001 to 80020000. Anyone guide to me? |
