You could solve the issue as below
1 In material master set base unit of measure as EA
2 In purchase field of material master you can set ordering unit as
PAC and variable purchase order unit as 1
System will prompt you to enter "factor for converting alternate
unit to Base unit"
Here you can enter 1 PAC = 5000 EA
3 You can create PO for 1 PAC at $1931.22
4 When GR is done the system will show stock of 5000 EA with a price
of $0.39
5 If stock is already available then you have to change the price to
$0.39 before generating the PO

I have an order being placed for a Quantity of 5000 at one total price of $1,931.22.
When creating requisition, my end user wants to be able to enter quantity of 5000 but with the total cost.
Unit of Measure of "EA" would show pricing x 5000. How do we enter this, and still be able to receive shipments (partial or total) up to the 5000 as they arrive? |
